Big Bear

3/10/07 between 130-140 pm, 12 year old child was hit by truck that fled the scene on the street Loch Leven right off of Hwy 173 between ReMax and the Paramount Inn. The child was hit from the side suffering a broken wrist, severe road rash on the same wrist, a bruise on his foot (that may have been run over) and numerous scrapes & bruises.
Full size Ford truck, late 70s – mid 80s, white or cream color with utility bed (built in toolboxes), black ladder rack, metal bumper. The man is between 50-60 years old, Caucasian, white hair, tan face, thin build and walks hunched over. Last seen wearing bluish/black jeans and a white tank top, between 5’7-5’10. If anyone has any information regarding this individual or the vehicle, please call 951-489-6156. Please help me find the guy that did this to my son. Thank you.

This should have been on the Lake Arrowhead board, and not the Big Bear board.

Also, anybody with any information on this should be contacting the Sheriff's Department, not the kid's parents.

I'm so sorry to hear about your son. I'm glad he wasn't hurt any worse than what he was.
