I have always enjoyed Freddy. He was a great rocker! What was amazing to me was how he could be openly gay... even dying in an era when AIDS was considered by many a "gay plague," yet even the most neanderthal homophobic metal heads could be ardent fans. His talent was able to cross the line of fear and hate... and the world was a better place because of him.
