I know what you mean because I joke about them too. As far as I know - they are not blight!
I think we will be okay. DH has worked really hard getting the property up to compliance and we are talking to Planning and Code Enforcement. We still have some paperwork to take care of and thanks to Supervisor Derry and his Chief of Staff, George Watson, we are being guided through the process. These guys have been great! Also, we appreciate the help of Gregg Rice of Code Enforcement. They are really trying and just want to get the area cleaned up of the old foundations and chimneys from the Old Fire.
With lots of luck and good vibes from my ROTW friends we will get through this. And if the economy ever picks up so we can sell our house in Arrowhead then we will rebuild in Hook Creek. In the meantime we are adding another flower bed and vegetable bed for next year.
