I appears that this will be an ongoing problem for a while. I do hope no one misses a real problem though, because they assume that what they smell is drifting in from another fire.

after what flylady brought to mind ands she is right , if you do smell smoke please report our mountain is a tinder box according to one ff up in the humbolt fire . but as for today yes there will be a smell of smoke from the fires up north

our fire departments would rather heard mulitple times about calls coming in over reports of smoke and its better for them to check things out just in case. so please if you smell smoke call in.. thanks flylady

It's smelled of smoke in Pasadena from time to time over the last few days. Currently the temp is about 103 degrees down here and due to go up. No fire, but I sure feel like I could ignite any minute!

we have thunderheads building off hwy 330 moving over our mountian , per eye wittness heading down 1 hour ago,, , major thunder cells up north with multiple fires all over, i have this info going on wwww.socalmountains.com if anyone needs info,, take care guys it might be noisy later tonite

I just checked our former favorite weatherman's website and while he says the clouds look menacing, he doubts if we will see much from them. I hope he's right. (He usually is.)
