If LACSD sticks its finger in my lawn, I will pull my hose out and show them who's in charge.

Oh Rafi that was Elaine's line from a great Seinfeld episode when she bought up all the birth control sponges because they were discontinuing them, too funny!

LACSD is doing a great job, they should stop everyone from watering outdoors. And not finding new water resources, yet still selling hundreds of new water hook-ups at $20,000.00+ for each new house. Well done, how do I get in on this scam !!!

Ron, Timers, yeah, good idea. I will install sprinklers on my front porch which is where I have my potted plants. Then I will put them on timers. I will park my car out front by the front door as well, and wash my car, my front door/entry area, and water my flowers at the same time. Nevermind the hoses running across the front porch, and when LACSD comes to stick their fingers in my flower pots they will trip over the sprinkler system and sue me... Hubby will love that when he comes home
hey baby look at this, we are now LACSD compliant

I noticed this entire room dropped off due to lack of activity. Everyone must be hung over or out watering their acreage.

Well that didn't work either. Perhaps Dave did something when he deleted the offending posts of the rable rouser?

Well, well, well, a topic of interest here. All I can say is wait until Obamanation is elected and all dissidents are put in concentration camps!
Won't have to worry about water then!

Juniper: they make timers available for drip systems also. You can water anything, anywhere using drip systems and save a ton of water.

We just finished putting a water timer on our drip system that hooks into the faucet. I can set watering hours and which days I want the watering to take place.

Just read in the Mt News that the LACWD will be getting a new set up to read the meeters on a daily basis, and that they will be able to tell who is using how much water and when...
Also noticed this afternoon at 12:01 PM that the county building at Grandview Road and 189 was watering their grass (why do they even have it BEHIND the offices?) quite profusely. Aren't you supposed to water early in the morning or in the evening???

That area is NOT LACSD water, or Lake right property. So............

Rumors are spreading everywhere. No one seems to know what really is allowed anymore. Are we permitted to water with a hose anytime, anywhere, but are only allowed to use sprinklers on MWF in the early morning or late evening?

Call them???

Read the material that was supposedly sent to all customers.

Even Gemini knew about this over a month ago and he hardly ever knows anything!

Go to LACSD's website. All the basic info is there.

Ron - I may be thousands of miles away in beautiful Hilton Head Island, SC but I still have the pulse on what's happening back home, even as I sit under a Palmetto tree by the water pounding away Hurricanes.
Waiter!!!! Double up on the rum in the next Hurricane you bring me, please.
