The worst thing that Rim of the World School District does and has done for over 20 years is to abandon their special needs students. Parents have to spend thousands of dollars for special education attorney's and East Valley SELPA is always on the side of Rim and they never help the students who qualify for and can benefit from services they are refused. Rim's "Special Education" secret slogan is "all special needs kids left behind". The San Bernardino Bar Association hears complaints all the time about the Rim of the World School District breaking the Americans with Disabilities Act Law. They do anything they can to refuse services to children they are being paid to serve. Sad...

This thread is almost three (3) years old.

Sadly, nothing has really changed in those years.

With the state's financial crisis, and how it is affecting RimUSD directly (see last week's Mountain News or Courier)...we are in for a tough ride.

This is sad...as the children are the ones that are being affected the most.
