I was just wondering if they're were any organizations on the mountain that helped low income families with Christmas gifts for their children. I have tried toys for tots but I'm not sure if I will be on their list or not, so I'm just trying to cover all of my bases.

I was told that you can go to the Fire Dept here on Crest forest and ask about "The Sparks of love Program" And sign up..They take down the ages of the children in need and then let you know where the gifts may be picked up. Go to The Provider in Rim Forest and sign up for your Turkey and Ham Dinner. Also go to the "Elks Club" close to the Depot(Near the flower shop)My Son-by-the law is a meter reader so talks to many of these places that are giving and to many in need.Good Luck!

Thank you for posting some organizations on here. I know we can't financially donate this year, we have issues of our own. I will however contact them and see if we can at least donate our time in some way. I know many people have it worse than we do this year and I would like to at least do my part.

There's also an organization called Christmas KISS that does that sort of thing on the mountain. They have a Santa, Mrs. Claus, elves, the whole bit...and they deliver to your door!
Not sure how to contact them, but I'll find out and post back.
