Glaze: 1/4 cup butter 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup water 1/2 cup rum Spray bunt pan with baking no stick cooking spray. Sprinkle nuts in bottom of pan. Mix all cake ingredients together and pour over nuts. Bake 325 degreese for 40-45 min. Set on rack to cool. Invert on serving plate. Prick top with toothpicks. While cooling make glaze. Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in water and sugar bring to boil stirring constantly. Turn off burner stir in rum. Drizzle glaze over very slowly. This recipe was given to me by one of my 80 year old clients and she said she "Found it in a box of rum she got one Christmas." I bake them for everyone I can durring the holidays. Hope you all have as much fun as I do. Do Not Give this to Children. Good luck.

OK, got it!!!
Have a shot of rum and then spray pan with Pam.
Put nuts in pan, have another shot of rum!

Mix cake ingredients and pour over nuts.
Have another shot of rum!

Put the pam, I mean pan in the oven, WHOOPS! forgot to turn it on!
Bake the crake until it's done. Have another shot while it cools orf. Hiccup!!!
Make the graze and put whatever rum is left in the brottle in it, if there is any left! Uh oh, open another brottle of brum!

Poke some cute wittle hoes in the crake with a toothprick and dizzle the graze over the crake. Give a big piece to the kids before bed and they will sleep alllll night!!!!
Pour yourself another snot of run and eat your crake!

HAPPY BELATED B-DAY RSG!!! Haven't been on here the last few days. Still trying to re-group from the Halloween party, son's b-day party and the time change. Hope the "rum cake" was good (or at least the rum LOL). Hope you had a great day and many more!!!
