Hi Big Bear have the grandkids for 4 days, We went minature golfing, to the arcade, tomorrow is the pirate ship and trout farm. Any parents or grandparents out there with some great places to take the kids, 13,8 and 3. Which restaurants are kid friendly also. Hope to hear from you all.

Have they been to the Moonridge Animal Park (especially if they can hook up with a docent for a tour) and on the ski lift ride at Summit?

How about paddle boats at Pleasure Point marina. Village Pizza is a good kid friendly place. Bowling barn (probably for the older ones). Also has an arcade in there. The swim beach at Meadows park.

Jeep tours look like a real blast, they go places you can't drive. Info at Discovery Center, I think.

Yes, Discovery Center is great! I might also suggest the petting zoo on hwy 38. THe Alpine Slide. A boat tour (Miss Liberty or BB Queen) is nice.

All this time, I thought the Alpine slide was a snow play event?

Kid friendly restaurants: Boo Bears in Village, Teddy Bear in Village, Cowboy Express, and Thelmas.

Wow that was a great response, I live right around the bend from the zoo and everytime they come up they have to go visit Huckleberry. This will keep us busy with all these ideas. And next week I am taking them camping at Serrano. Where on 38 is the petting zoo? Thanks again Big Bear you all are great.

Petting zoo was great, the people there are so friendly. Pony rides for kids and they got to pet a baby pig. Thanks for the tip Brandon. Trout pond was so so pricey but when you see the 3 year old reel in her own fish, you can't really put a price on that now can you. Big Bear has so much to offer. Kids have worn me out.
