This Friday and Saturday, July 4th and 5th, we are having an adoption day! We welcome any animals that you have that need homes to come and join us for the day. So if you have an animal you want to bring in, we have a few details you may need.
We open at 9:00 tomorrow and Saturday, so You are welcome to bring your dog in at any time after 9:00. We ask that you pick your animal up at 5:30 that night. We will not board any animals.
We also ask that any dog be accompanied by a leash or kennel. We have our own small kennel for small dogs, but to avoid overcrowding we'd like all dogs to have their own crate or leash. You don't necessarily have to leave the leash or Kennel, but we do need them for the day.
We also have a sheet of frequently asked questions that we hope you can fill out to ensure the dog finds its optimal home. For example, if a dog is bad with cats, we won't send it home with a person that owns four. We ask that you are honest with these sheets, and if you like we can email them ahead of time, but they should be easy to fill out on location.
If you have any toys, leashes, beds, blankets, etc that you wish to give with the dog, please feel free to bring those in as well. So far we've taken a few donations for food, but if you have any you can spare for the day, that would also be ideal.
For cats and Kittens, we have a small cage to accomodate a few cats, but we ask that you bring in any cat carriers or kennels. Our cage is just too small for more than three cats, and they aren't always friendly together, which may hinder their finding a home. We don't necessarily ask that you leave them, but we do need them for the day.
Otherwise, you are welcome to stay with your animal to ensure you approve of new owners, but please remember we are animal people. The owner, David Tilton owns 8 dogs, and pet sits for the mountain and gets along with and loves all animals. We will not give good dogs bad homes... We love them too much!
You are also welcome to bring in any application or contract you wish.
Any medical records or paperwork is always welcome as well.
Otherwise, that's all we can think of. If you have any other questions, feel free to post them here. We'll answer all questions we can, and we are greatly looking forward to seeing your animals, and finding great homes.

Please bring in any animals you've had for a while before you take them to the pound! We'll take them in today for our adoption!
