The Lake Arrowhead Village parking structure is not safe to park your car! They don't have any sort of surveillance other than a security guard on a golf cart patrolling every so often. Just this evening there were numerous vandalism cases to vehicles in the parking structure including my own. I spoke with the Sherrif and was informed that there were numerous incidents lately involving car burglary and vandalism (not just tonight but all summer). He also explained that the Sherrifs department has asked the Lake Arrowhead Village to install a cameras as to prevent these robberies and protect the lives of our community members from potential kidnapping, robbery, rape and/or murder. However the response from the Village was without interest to the safety of its inhabitants. Something needs to be changed in this Village. This is not Los Angelos, and yet I feel more comfortable parking my car down in the middle of Garden Grove than in that parking structure. That structure needs video cameras, and tighter security. It would make guests feel more comfortable and would inevitably increase customer flow. People would feel safer up here and in the long run it would bring about a stronger economy to our community. In the meantime, avoid the parking structure at all costs. Keep an eye out for one another too. If you see something suspicious, alert authorities.

thanks for the info i wondered about that due to friends and i would go down to the village and thought about parking in there , glad we didnt ,,,
