Does anyone know of a place that takes wild animals who need help, he fell out of his nest and I don't want to leave him.
Sent: Saturday, July 5, 2008 12:07 PM
jessleo, is there any way to get him back in the nest? Or place him in a spot off the ground (box, string, soft towel) so that his parents can get to him. Are his parents even looking for him?
If not, then give Wildhaven a call.
Thanks for caring!!!!

He had another bird that stayed with him and I didn't want to touch him until I found somewhere to take him. We couldn't find his nest anywhere. Unfortunately, he didn't make it. Very sad for his the bird's little friend and my son.

Oh I'm sorry.
That was probably one of his parents.

yes and now his siblings are hanging around. I was going to catch them, but they can kind of fly, so I figured I would just leave them alone.

I know this is an old thread, Leave them alone, We have a nest on our deck with 4 babies in it right now. This is the 4th year with babies and when they leave the nest, they hop around the deck for a few hours while the the parents try to teach them to fly, once they make it up to a tree branch off they go.. if you try to go near them the mama will dive bomb your head.

I left them alone and put some food out for them, mama is very protective, I feel bad that she lost one.
