Kdog, the subject who struck your wife was arrested by the CHP for DUI and hit and run. There is a report. Two reports, in fact. One is a collision report. The other is an arrest report that goes to the District Attorney’s Office.

Unlike MTNDeputy, I don’t have the luxury of closing threads on this site. Some of the commentary here is completely inaccurate and inappropriate.

I want to say that the officer who handled this arrest is one of the finest within the CHP. Not only is he a fine officer, but a good person who genuinely cares about the people he comes in contact with. I can’t discuss the particulars of a case, but I will say you were fortunate this officer arrived to handle this investigation. The officer went the extra mile to collect incriminating evidence.

Kdog, if you think this officer has done you or your wife a disservice, then call the CHP office and speak to a supervisor.

Haven been run off the road by drivers up here... I'm more concerned about the status of your wife.

Drove down the hill today with my son. Two autos were over the line coming at me. Both were women drivers on their cell phones. Hope this new law works.

About every time that I now drive up or down the hill I am confronted with drivers that are over the center line. It is a really big concern for me and for our other drivers.

Something really needs to be done about this!!

It's unfortunate what happened to your ex-wife, but you really need to back off the people who are on your side. Do you want a quality investigation or not - and cool it with your conspiracy theories!!
