The white and tan Chihuahua that was in the picture you took of your sis's pup, could pass as my chihuahua's twin. Yeah, they somehow know that I've got my own home now and someone to love me. Very lucky puppy, very special people. Thanks to you.

The white and tan Chihuahua is still available as of yesterday. He is one yrs. old. Very quiet, gentle, and loving with children. He's in kennel #122 at San Bernardino City Shelter. Their phone # is 909-384-1304. I don't know when he got there or how long he has left.

I just looked him up on petharbor.com and I found out he's been there since July 12th. His name is Rocky and his ID # is A320419. Since it is the shelter's "busy season", I have noticed with a few dogs lately if no one shows any interest in them they only give them about 2 weeks. This is a very high kill shelter he's at. If anyone is interested please act quickly!

christie is right.. the shelter is busy now through Thanksgiving.. many dogs are housed with a whole bunch of other dogs. Jennifer told me that one of the dogs that got adopted yesterday was in a kennel with 10 other dogs! Please, if anyone would like a sweet chihuahua, consider saving this poor boy's life.
Here is his photo:

And fyi, these are not
large kennels either. So the poor dogs are all crammed in together!!

Yeah, I even saw some big dogs together. So sad: ( That Chihuahua is in a cage now with a pit puppy thats probably 5 times it's size.

Hi, I copied this link so more people can see this. We were at the San Bermardino city shelter and saw this precious little dog. He was so loving with my grand-daughter that I thought he would make a great friend for a loving family. ID # is A320419. Very quiet, gentle, and loving with children. He's in kennel #122 at San Bernardino City Shelter. Their phone # is 909-384-1304. I don't know when he got there or how long he has left. This is his picture. Thank you!

lovesanimals, it's the same pup that Christib has mentioned in her previous posts. With all this help, it's just a matteer of time before he gets out!

It sure is, but the shelter picture isn't a good one. ChristieB took a pic that breaks my heart.

I have four long haired white chihuahua puppies that are 12 weeks old and adorable and I know will not be difficult to sell. However I am touched by your story and would be willing to let you have one for free. My only concern however is that chihuahuas are typically not dogs for children unlike other breeds. Let me know if you would like me to send some pictures.
