Buggybug and Bunny-If you come across any Golden Retriever mix dogs between the age of 8 weeks to 6 months old could you let me know. My sister and her hubby are looking to adopt. They had to put down there 13 year old dog a couple of months ago. They have 2 kids, a 3 year old and 6 year old. That is why they want a younger dog. Thanks!

Jessie, that may be a good question for Buggybugg, Songbird, or other volunteers that are there on a regular basis. Since I only post on CL, I only see the Homefinder dogs, and there are hundreds more.

I can keep an eye out for a Golden mix puppy but the dogs there come and go pretty fast. So when I see one, I can post it here or something but the dog may no longer be available by the time you get to the shelter. I believe it's first come first served.

Jessie, maybe your sister and her husband would be interested in the BC mix. She looks like she has some retriever in her and it could be Golden, even though she is black. She is older than 6 mos., but still acts very like a puppy. You can see her pictures under the "Border Collie mix needs help..." thread. Just a thought. She is a lovely dog.

Jessie grooms my BC mix, and she's the BEST groomer, and dog lover I've ever known!

Media, I know there has to be a good home for this girl. She deserves nothing less! Please let me know if you take any more photos, I will do my best to get her out there, it's just so hard right now, there are so many unwanted dogs, for so many reasons.
