PAVING PROJECT TO BEGIN ON SR-38

San Bernardino - Caltrans will begin an asphalt-paving project on State Route 38 from Amethyst Street in Redlands uphill to west of Mill Creek Bridge on Thursday October 20, 2005. The project covers various locations on SR-38 for approximately nine miles.

The work hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with flagging. Minimal delays will take place for less than 15 minutes. The project is expected to be complete by the beginning of December 2005, weather permitting. Work will not take place over weekends or holidays.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow a little extra time if traveling during the work hours. Watch for lane shifts and merge when you are directed to do so. Your patience is always appreciated and remember to - SLOW FOR THE CONE ZONE.
