UPDATE ON SR-330 PAVING SCHEDULE

San Bernardino County – The recent asphalt mix complications have made it difficult
to receive paving material on a daily basis for State Route 330 paving project. Due to
cooler temperatures and the need to complete the project in a timely manner, the
contractor has altered the work days. The following schedule is for the remainder of this
week and next week.

SR-330 will be closed for paving on:
Friday, October 7, 2005 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Monday, October 10, 2005 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, October 12, 2005 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The route will be open on all other days not listed above until Monday October 17, 2005.

Caltrans is hopeful to resume with the regular paving schedule on October 17th until the
completion of the project in late-October 2005. Additional information will be released
before Monday October 17th with the paving and closure schedule.

During the closures motorists are advised to use SR-18 or SR-38 as an alternate route.

Just heard a scanner report that the 330 is closed. Per the Caltrans Release, it was supposed to be open today... ??

San Bernardino County – Weather has permitted work to be done on State Route 330
on Wednesday October 19, 2005. At this time, it is unknown whether paving will
continue on Thursday and/or Friday of this week. Additional information will be released
when details are obtained. Wednesday’s closure hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

UPDATE ON SR-330 PAVING PROJECT

San Bernardino County – State Route 330 will be open Friday, October 21st due to lack of asphalt availability.

Work will resume on SR-330 on Monday October 24th through Friday October 28th. During the work hours next week, SR-330 will be closed Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather and asphalt availability permitting.

Hello out there!

Just thought I would drop a line and let you all know that there will be
work on SR-330 this week. The route will be closed Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We are finishing up down to the bottom. Tree removal will also take place during the closures so they can have that complete by the time the paving if finished.

Vampires and ghosts and goblins, too;
Can't keep Caltrans away from you.

But at least in the end your road will be repaved!

Get your costumes ready and maybe your face painted green;

UPDATE ON SR-330 PAVING PROJECT

San Bernardino County – State Route 330 will be open today, October 25th due to wet weather conditions. The work is expected to resume on Wednesday, October 26th if weather conditions are drier. When work resumes the closure schedule will remain in effect, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

If the project does not resume tomorrow morning (October 26th) an update will be released.

UPDATE ON SR-330 PAVING PROJECT

San Bernardino County – State Route 330 will be closed today, Friday October 28th, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. In an effort to complete additional paving this week, the route will remain under flagging conditions from 3:30 p.m. to approximately 7:30 p.m. this evening.

For the week of October 31st the route will be closed Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for recessed marker installation.

The turnout paving and final work will continue the week of November 7th with the route open under flagging conditions Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. This work schedule with flagging will remain in place until the project is complete around mid November, weather permitting.

Caltrans would like to thank the residents and visitors of the mountain communities for their continued patience throughout the paving project. The department would also like to acknowledge the support of the Running Springs and Big Bear Chambers of Commerce.

Please remember, with the upcoming flagging your safety and that of the workers is of utmost importance. Slow before merging and hang up your cell phone. One small mistake can be costly to all involved.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
UPDATE ON SR-330 PAVING PROJECT

San Bernardino County – Caltrans will open SR-330 Tuesday November 1, 2005. At the present time, Caltrans anticipates SR-330 to be closed as scheduled for the remainder of the week- Wednesday November 2nd and Thursday November 3rd from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Friday November 4th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Paving turnouts and final work will continue the week of November 7th with the route open under flagging conditions Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Weather permitting, this work schedule, with the flagging, will remain in place until the project is complete around mid November. Further information will be released in the event the work schedule should change.

Caltrans would like to thank motorists for their continued patience and support during the pavement project. It is important to remember your safety and the safety of the
