Minor Fire Extinguished Above Johnny’s Market (Update)By News Team Update – Sunday 7:48 p.m. Valley of Enchantment, CA – Crest Forest Fire personnel responded to a fire on the patio above Johnny's Market on Waters Drive in Valley of Enchantment at 6:50 p.m. Sunday.
Arriving units reported smoke showing but the fire in the wall of an upstairs residential unit's balcony was out. Firefighters removed 5-6 boards from the structure and made sure the fire was completely extinguished.
The 3,000-square-foot market was not damaged by the blaze and the small fire did not impact surrounding structures or vegetation.
Paramedics treated and released one unidentified individual who was apparently suffering from smoke inhalation.
Original Story Valley of Enchantment, CA — Firefighters from Crest Forest Fire District responded to a report of a fire on the patio of the residence above Johnny's Market on Waters Drive in the Valley of Enchantment.
Scanner transmissions indicate one individual was not transported to a hospital, but suffered from smoke inhalation.
