RIMOFTHEWORLD.net has reached another milestone. This blog represents the 1000th email alert since the Email and Mobile Phone Alerts System began in late May 2008.
Email and Mobile Phone Alerts are available to our Club Members. Through their account settings, members have the ability to choose which types of alerts they receive - from nothing to everything - and how they receive them. Additionally, members have the option to limit what is sent to them by specifying filter words.
The last four hours of alerts can be viewed on the Email And Pager Alerts page. The incidents and news articles are categorized as Critical Incidents (Red) such as fires and major accidents; Breaking News items and Major Incidents (Orange); and everything else (Yellow).
