Carl Saunders Trumpet at Jazz FestivalJazz in Blue Jay August 21 By Michael P. Neufeld Blue Jay, CA – Attendees at the opening Jazz in Blue Jay concert August 21 will be entertained by the straight ahead jazz trumpet of Carl Saunders with the show starting at 6 p.m.
Saunders, who is billed as one of the finest jazz trumpeters of the 21st century, has four recordings available including Out of the Blue, Eclecticism, Bebop Big Band and Can You Dig Being Dug.

Scott Martin presents Latin, soul and jazz on August 28 with blues by the King Brothers on September 4 and a Member Party set for September 13 headlining Jazz by the Lake featuring jazz violinist Antonio Pontarelli, Grammy winner George Whitty and local favorite Sydne.
Tickets to the concert are $15 per person and tables are $50. They are available at Tips Printing and Betty's General Store in Blue Jay. They can also be ordered online at tips@tipsprinting.com or by calling Andrea at (909) 337-7253.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and concerts begin at 6 p.m. Picnic dinner are welcome and concert goers should bring their own tables and chairs.
