San Bernardino, CA – Larry Darnell Rose, 50, convicted last week of burglarizing Palazzo Home Improvement Store in Crestline is awaiting transfer to the California Department of Corrections at Chino.

Rose, who accepted a plea bargain last week for the August 3 break-in at the Crestline business, is currently in custody at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.

San Bernardino Superior Court Judge Michael Dest denied probation on Thursday and sentenced Rose to state prison for a term of two years and four months with credit for time served of 18 days.

On motion of the people, pursuant to the plea bargain, Judge Dest ordered count two (vandalism $400 or more) dismissed. The court ordered a prior prison term for a non-violent felony stricken.
