That is why I came on here. There has to be something that we can do about this. It is not ok for a doctor to yell at a patient, ever! I heard a few other stories from one of the nurses and he has also told a girl that her appearance was ugly and that she is going to be really ugly when she is old. Apparently he didn't approve of the plugs in here ears. I was told that if they get enough complaint forms that it might help in getting him out of there. So please if any of you have had a similar experience, please go and fill out a complaint form. We do not need a Dr. like that up here.

Chaucer hate to break it to you but my facts are straight. We are all aware that drunks and excessive speeders cause major accidents. Its the ones that cause accidents and are to ignorant to know it that scare me. My facts are straight as I have been on the calls and seen the results.... Talk to me again after you have been on a few ride outs. I bet your eyes will be opened a little bit.

If the speed limit changes to 55 mph, I'll have to trade my car in for something geared for such a slow speed, like maybe a carburated Ford Country Squire. At 55mph, in 6th gear, I'm well below 2000 rpms and way outside the powerband. Also since my car is designed to use it's sixth gear, my gas mileage suffers at 55 in fifth gear. If this were the 70's, 55mph would be doable, but with today's computer controled direct injected engines, I don't think it'll work. On a recent trip, I set the cruise control to 65mph and averaged 28.6mpg on Hwy 395. Not bad in my opinion for a 4200lb car.

Even though Dave and I are members, I want to publicly congratulate the yacht club (LGYC) and the Historial Society for an excellent presentation of good, family fun. You guys that worked Thursday and all day Friday are just awesome. I worked at the front gate selling tickets for the children's games and got to see so many wonderful families come in. For all the negative that we read these days - I can tell personally, we have some great moms and dads here with fabulous little kids. They were all polite and anxious to walk in a start with the festivities. The Huff's originally created an event for the locals. The yacht club took it and ran with it and now it is one of the favorite events of the year. The ROTW posters that worked the picnic, or just came out to hang with us - you folks are just fun people - I am proud to be a part of this community of people. WELL DONE TO ALL OF US.

Juniper:I don't drive 50 mph on the freeway and I do take turnouts on the mountain. Your arguments are specious. It’s the idiots that drive intoxicated that kill or cross over to the opposite lanes on blind corners that kill on the mountain. Those that don’t pay attention to road conditions such as ice/snow or drive too fast in the rain. Or tailgate. Get your facts straight. The drivers that drive safely at 55mph on the freeway are not the ones employing you.

And then, of course, there's the fact that most Iraqis want us the hell out of there. If we "liberated" them, doesn't that mean they get to tell us to take a hike?

The people in that ad have to have no memory at all to say "the surge is working." Here's a report card compiled in March of '08 after one year of the surge.
That temporary surge (escalation) has already gone on longer than it was supposed to and it didn't accomplish the things that were promised. When Bush leaves office, we might get back to the troop level that we were at before the surge started.
