Pedestrian Killed While Walking on Freeway (Update)

Mira Loma Man Dies Near Devore

Update - Monday 3:23 p.m.

Devore, CA - The San Bernardino County Coroner has released the name of the pedestrian killed while walking on the I-215 freeway Sunday morning — Robin John Morgon, 47, from Mira Loma.

The California Highway Patrol is seeking information about the 1:42 a.m. incident. Call (909) 383-4247 to supply details about the fatal accident.

Devore, CA - A pedestrian walking on the I-215 freeway near Devore died after being struck by a 2005 Ford Explorer.

The San Bernardino County Coroner reports the 47-year-old Mira Loma man was struck at 1:42 a.m. Sunday morning while walking north on I-215 South. Official reports indicate the man was walking against traffic in the number two lane at the time of the incident.

The driver of the Ford Explorer stopped after the accident and called 9-1-1.

Responding paramedics pronounced the man dead at 2 a.m., according to a media advisory issued by the coroner.
